A virus outbreak that began in China some months ago has recently been declared as “pandemic” by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is a new respiratory disease in humans caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. Within the current circumstances, verified information about what is happening is really useful. We prepared these videos in order to spread knowledge about the virus, its transmission and how soap or alcohol can be useful to destroy it from our hands.
In the first video you will find:
introduction to the virus: how it started, how it is spreading, how long it remains infectious in surfaces…
the way how pathogens reach our bodies and infect us
In the second one:
chemistry of soap and alcohol-based hand sanitizer
how they manage to destroy the virus
which is the preferred technique for hand disinfection
During these days your help is very important. Share this knowledge with others, stay home, stay safe and wash your hands!
